Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our dedicated team. This field-based role involves:
Travelling across the UK to perform planned preventative maintenance on a variety of woodworking machinery.
Responding promptly to breakdown calls, providing efficient and effective solutions.
Installing new and serviced equipment, ensuring optimal functioning at client sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on woodworking machinery.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machinery breakdowns.
Install and set up new or serviced machinery at customer locations.
Provide high-quality customer service and support.
Maintain accurate service records and reports.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in maintaining woodworking machinery is highly desirable.
Formal qualifications in mechanical engineering are preferred.
Ability to travel extensively across the UK, with occasional overnight stays.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
